Domains lapse every day. A site collects links for a decade, the renewal notice bounces, and the name drops back into the available pool. The links do not expire when the registration does — they keep pointing at the name, and whoever registers it next inherits them.

Revised publishes what it knows about those names: referring domains, backlinks, Domain Authority, a spam band, archived-snapshot counts, Agent Citability and a Revised Score range. You read it in the web directory, over the HTTP API, or from an AI assistant over MCP.

What the API gives you

• The whole directory, paged. 17,713 listings as of 22 September 2026, filterable by category, TLD, domain age, Revised Score, spam band, estimated value and more.
• Banded metrics, not fake point estimates. referring_domains is "100-250", not 137. See Concepts for why.
• Agent Citability — how often a domain is cited by the sources AI answer engines draw on. The methodology is published in full.
• Reveals and holds. Buy a masked name with one call; reserve a listing inside the directory while you research it.
• An incremental change feed on the Business plan, including tombstones for listings that have left.

Two things to know before you start

Keys are free on every plan, and there is no anonymous access. Create a key at getrevised.com/account. Every endpoint answers 401 without one. Your plan changes your throughput and how many names you may reveal in a month — not which endpoints you can call, with the single exception of the since change feed.

tier decides what you may republish. open names are already published on the Revised site and may be passed on. regular and featured names are masked on the site and are disclosed to API callers under the API terms only. Read Republishing rules before you put a name anywhere public.
