Before you pick a plan
What counts as a reveal?
A reveal turns one masked listing into the real domain name. It is counted once per listing, per account: reopening a name you have already revealed is free, forever, and does not touch this month's allowance. An ordinary reveal costs 1 credit; a featured listing costs 3 on Starter and 1 on Pro. Business has no reveals: it sees every name from the start, so there is nothing to count.
What if a name I reveal has just been taken?
Every reveal re-checks whether the name is still unregistered. If it was registered since our last check, the reveal costs nothing and we tell you your credit was refunded. The name stays visible to you. Business has no reveals to refund; the same availability re-check runs before you register.
Which listings are free?
Around a third of the directory is free: those listings publish the domain name in full, with exact referring-domain and backlink counts, and cost no reveal on any plan — including no plan at all. The free set is the lower end of the book by estimated value, and everything in it still passes the same spam and clean-history screen as the rest. What you pay for is the other two thirds, plus getting rows out of the browser and into your own pipeline.
When does my reveal allowance reset?
Monthly, on your own anniversary — the date you signed up, or the date you upgraded if you're on a paid plan — not the first of the calendar month. Your account page and the API's `resets_at` always say exactly when. On Starter and Pro, unused reveals roll over into the next month, up to one month's allowance, as long as you stayed on the same plan. Free does not roll over. Business has no allowance, so nothing resets or rolls over.
Does exporting to CSV use reveals?
Exporting a row you have not revealed spends a reveal, because the export contains the name. Rows you have already revealed cost nothing to export again. Business sees every name, so every row exports in full and no reveal is involved.
Do you sell the domains?
Nothing. We are a directory: we do not hold, register, broker or sell the domains we list, and we take no position in any of them. What you do with a name once you have it is entirely your business.
Can I resell the data?
No, on any plan. Business gets the full, clean data through the sync feed for use in your own systems. Reselling, sublicensing or republishing it, raw or derived, is not allowed. See the terms.
Can I change or cancel my plan later?
Yes. Changes take effect through the billing portal, and Stripe prorates the difference. You keep access to the plan you paid for until the end of the period you have already paid.
What happens if a payment fails?
A card that fails does not lock you out on the spot. The plan stays live for seven days while the payment retries, which is long enough to update a card that simply expired.
