Each is at least five years old by its archive record and registration history, and each has referring domains that survived the original site going offline. Names are masked until you reveal them on Free, Starter and Pro; Business shows every name. Every metric is open.
About this list
Age is verified, not read off a WHOIS record. Site history comes from archived captures: the archived snapshot count and the span of years the site was captured. Referring domains are counted from our own web crawl, not from a paid link index. Availability is re-checked against the live DNS root over DNS-over-HTTPS, and a listing that turns out to be registered is removed. Revised Score blends link-graph centrality, referring domains and site history into one 0 to 100 grade, computed across the whole directory.
An aged domain with a clean archive record is the usual starting point for a site that needs history from day one. The page lists the domain's age, its snapshot count, the referring domain band, the named linking sources and its Revised Score, so you can compare listings on the same terms before revealing any of them. The median listing has 10 to 50 referring domains, and 61 have 250 or more. Spam-flagged names are filtered out, and 13,508 (100%) had availability re-checked within 30 days. The list spans 168 top-level domains, led by .com, .org and .net. Referring domains come from our own web crawl. 2,412 (17%) are free listings: name and exact counts shown, no reveal; the rest need a reveal, except Business. - What is an aged domain?
- An aged domain is a domain name that was first registered years ago and has a recorded history: archived snapshots, links from other sites, and a first-seen date well in the past. On this page a domain qualifies when the archived record and the registration history put its age at five years or more. Age on its own is not a quality signal. Age with a continuous archive record and live referring domains is.
- Do aged domains rank better than new domains?
- Age is only one of the signals a search engine can read, and Google has said that domain age by itself is not a ranking factor. What an aged domain does carry is its link history and its archive record, and those persist if the new site is a plausible continuation of the old one. Google's expired domain abuse policy targets expired domains that are repurposed to host unrelated content, so the relevant question is what you build on the name, not how old it is.
- How do I check the history of an aged domain?
- Read the archived record first. A domain that was captured every year since it was registered, with the same kind of site throughout, is a different asset from one with a gap of several years or a period of unrelated content. Then check the referring domains: who links to it, and whether those links still resolve. Every listing here shows the snapshot count, the span of years captured, the referring domain band and the named linking sources.
- Does Revised sell aged domains?
- No. Revised is a directory of expired domains that are available to register, with their metrics verified. We do not hold, sell or register domains. When you reveal a listing you get the name and the metrics, and you register it yourself at any registrar. Nothing in the directory is priced; the estimated value on a listing is a model output, not an asking price.
