A domain is added only after verification. Availability is re-checked against the live DNS root over DNS-over-HTTPS, and a listing that turns out to be registered is removed. Referring domains are counted from the Common Crawl web graph, a public crawl of the web, not from a paid link index. History comes from the Internet Archive: the Wayback Machine snapshot count and the span of years the site was captured. Revised Score blends link-graph centrality, referring domains and archive history into one 0 to 100 grade, computed across the whole directory. Listings arrive in batches after each discovery crawl, so the count at the top moves when a batch lands.
The newest listings are the least picked over. A domain that has been in the directory for a year has been seen by everyone who browses it; one added this quarter has not.
