About this list
Revised Score blends link-graph centrality, referring domains and site history into one 0 to 100 grade, computed across the whole directory. Referring domains are counted from our own web crawl, not from a paid link index. Site history comes from archived captures: the archived snapshot count and the span of years the site was captured. Availability is re-checked against the live DNS root over DNS-over-HTTPS, and a listing that turns out to be registered is removed. The backlink count is shown as a band beside the score.
A high score is a starting point, not a verdict. The listing shows the named linking sources and the site history so you can tell a domain with links from a university and a national newspaper apart from one with the same count from directories. Revised Score estimates this from our web crawl, blended with referring domain count and site history, and grades it 0 to 100. On this page every listing scores 65 or higher, which is the Strong band and above.
- How do I know a high authority domain is not spam?
- Check who the referring domains are, not just how many there are. A domain with links from an encyclopedia, a university and a news organization has authority that is hard to fake. A domain with the same count from link farms does not. Every listing names its notable linking sources and shows the site history, so a high score with thin history stands out before you reveal it.
- Do the backlinks still count after the domain expires?
- The links themselves stay live for as long as the linking pages stay up, and they resolve to whatever is at the domain now. Whether a search engine keeps counting them depends on what you build. Google's expired domain abuse policy targets expired domains repurposed to host unrelated content. A site that continues the old domain's subject keeps its links; a site that changes subject entirely should not expect to.
