Revised Is Now an Expired-Domain Directory

Revised used to sell domains. It doesn't any more.

From today the site is a directory. You browse listings and their metrics without an account, you sign in and open the names you want, and what you do with a name after that is entirely your business. We hold nothing and we sell nothing, which means there is no stock here that we have a reason to talk up.

Why we changed it

Selling the domains put us on both sides of every listing. When the same company writes the report on a domain and then profits from the transaction, the report is worth less, and everyone reading it knows that. We were also spending most of our effort on the part of the business we were worst at, which was holding names and moving them between people, and almost none on the part we were actually good at, which was working out which expired domains have a link history worth anything at all.

The other thing that pushed it was AI search. The question people keep bringing us is no longer "what is the DA on this". It is whether a domain reads as credible to an answer engine, which is a question about who has chosen to reference it over the years. That is a data problem. It is not a brokerage problem.

So we kept the data and dropped everything else.

What the directory gives you

Every listing carries the same set of published measurements, and none of it is behind a paywall:

• Referring domains, banded, plus the trusted sources that actually link to the domain
• Agent Citability, our 0 to 100 score for how deeply a domain sits in the part of the web that answer engines cite, with the methodology published in full
• Wayback-verified age and a snapshot timeline, so you can see the gaps rather than trusting a registration date
• Clean-history screening for spam, blacklist flags and adult-content history
• An estimated value, which is a model output and not an asking amount
• The timestamp of the last availability check, because a stale row is worse than no row

Names are masked. That part is not new, and the reason has not changed: the name is the one piece of information that makes the rest of the listing worth reproducing, and a directory that gives every name away for free stops being a directory within a week. Opening a name is called a reveal, it costs one reveal from your monthly allowance, and it stays open to you afterwards at no further cost.

The plans

Reveals reset on the first of the month, UTC, and they do not roll over. On Pro, exporting a row you have not already opened spends a reveal, because the export contains the name. Business has no reveal ceiling, so the question does not come up there. Current numbers are always on the plans page.

What we are not doing

There is no auction. There is no bidding. We do not take a position in any domain we list, we do not broker anything, and we do not act for you anywhere. If a listing looks good to you, you act on it yourself, and if you decide our estimate was optimistic then you have lost nothing but the reveal.

We are also not promising that a score predicts anything. Agent Citability measures where a domain's links come from. Whether that translates into citations in an AI answer is the thing we are still testing, and the methodology page is blunt about which parts of it are validated and which are a well-argued guess.

If you used the old site

Your account still works and your sign-in has not changed. The old dashboard now redirects to your account page, which is where the plan, the reveal meter and the API keys live. Every old listing URL still resolves. Nothing you had access to before has been taken away, and the free tier sees more of the data than the old site ever showed to anyone.
