Every listing goes through the same four checks before it is shown. The method and the limit of each are stated here and on the listing.
Referring domains are counted from the Common Crawl web graph, a public crawl of the web, not from a paid link index. Every listing names the well-known sources that link to it, so eleven links from universities read differently from four hundred from nowhere.
Limit Common Crawl is a periodic snapshot. A link added or removed since the crawl is not counted, and the count does not say whether each link still resolves.
History comes from the Internet Archive: the Wayback Machine snapshot count and the span of years the site was captured. The archived pages are also read for spam and adult-content history and for what the site actually published.
Limit Age is the first archived capture, which can be later than the first registration. A domain the Archive never captured shows no history rather than a clean one.
Revealing a name re-checks it against the live DNS root over DNS-over-HTTPS, right then, and a listing that turns out to be registered is removed. Everywhere else, exports, the API and a name you have already revealed, the row carries the timestamp of the last check.
Limit A name can be registered by someone else between the last check and your registration. The timestamp tells you how old the answer is; it does not hold the name.
Revised Score blends link-graph centrality, referring domains and archive history into one 0 to 100 grade, computed across the whole directory. Agent Citability rates the provenance of the inbound links by who published them. The estimated value is a model output.
Limit All three are estimates. None is an asking price, because there is nothing to buy here, and a third-party Domain Authority figure can disagree with every one of them.
Whether the site you plan to build fits the domain’s past. Google’s site reputation abuse policy targets expired domains repurposed to host unrelated content, so a domain keeps the value of its history only when the new site continues the old subject.
