About this list

This page lists 1,941 expired SaaS domains with backlinks. Each has expired, is available to register, has referring domains that survived the original site going offline, and was classified as SaaS from its archived content. Names are masked until you reveal them on Free, Starter and Pro; Business shows every name. Every metric is open. Expired SaaS domains belonged to software products that shut down, and their links often come from Product Hunt, Hacker News, GitHub and the documentation of other tools that integrated with them.

Every listing is verified the same way as the rest of the directory. Availability is re-checked against the live DNS root over DNS-over-HTTPS, and a listing that turns out to be registered is removed. Referring domains are counted from our own web crawl, not from a paid link index. Site history comes from archived captures: the archived snapshot count and the span of years the site was captured. Revised Score blends link-graph centrality, referring domains and site history into one 0 to 100 grade, computed across the whole directory.

Category evidence exists for part of the directory, and this page grows as classification runs. Compare the SaaS listings on age, referring domain band, named linking sources, site history and Revised Score before revealing any of them.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How do I find expired SaaS domains?

Browse this page. Every listing has been classified as SaaS from its archived content, has expired, is available to register, and has referring domains counted from our web crawl. Names are masked on Free, Starter and Pro, Business shows every name, and metrics are open. Reveal a listing to get its name, then register it at any registrar.

How is the category of an expired domain decided?

From what the site was. Each domain's archived pages are classified into one of the directory's categories, and only a confident classification is stored. A domain whose history is ambiguous shows no category and is not on this page.

Why does the category of an expired domain matter?

The topical fit is the point. Google's expired domain abuse policy targets expired domains repurposed to host unrelated content. A SaaS domain used for a new SaaS site keeps its history; the same domain used for something unrelated should not expect to.

Plans, not browsing

Searching is free. A plan decides how many names you see.

Every metric on these listings is open to everyone, signed in or not, and so is every search, filter and sort. Free listings show their name to anyone. On Free, Starter and Pro a reveal hands you a masked name and a fresh availability check; Business shows every name. Then the domain is yours to register at any registrar. A free account gets 5 reveals a month.

Availability is re-checked the moment you reveal a name, or on Business when you register. They go once someone else registers them.
